SEVERAL HOLIDAYS CUM MID- TERM BREAK FOR 3RD TERM 2023/2024 ACADEMIC SESSION NEWS LETTER
We owe God a deluge of thanks for His uncommon grace upon the life of everyone that is connected to Adelayo Academy and for seeing us through the first-half of the term. The school is also indebted to our esteemed parents/guardians for your unwavering support, cooperation and contributions towards the growth of the school. May your painstaking efforts over your ward(s) be speedily rewarded in Jesus name. (Amen).
We seek your indulgence to keep you informed as follows:.
Several Holidays Cum Resumption for the Second-Half of the Term:
- Wednesday the 12th of June, 2024 is democracy holiday
- Mid-term break holds on Thursday the 13th and Friday the 14th of June, 2024
- Eid-EL-KABIR celebration holidays hold on Monday the 17th and Tuesday the 18th of June, 2024
- Boarders resume on Tuesday the 18th of June, 2024 effective from 2pm
- Entire school resumes on Wednesday the 19th of June, 2024 effective from 7:30 am
- Entire school resumes on Wednesday the 19th of June, 2024 effective from 7:30 am. Mid-Term Assignment:
- All pupils and students have holiday assignments that are sufficient enough to keep them busy during holidays.
- The assignment is expected to be done based on the specific instructions of the different class teachers /subject teachers. Unfailingly each assignment is mandatorily expected to be turned in on Wednesday the 19th of June, 2024. Parents/guardians are candidly enjoined to assist your ward(s) in the assignment. WAEC, MAY/JUNE, 2024 AND BECE (NECO) 2024:
- The above examinations for both S.S.S 3 and J.S.S 3 had been written in the school. We earnestly pray that the students will have resounding success in the examinations. Admission for 2024/2025 Academic Session:
- Admission of pupils/students into Nursery, Primary, Junior Secondary School and Senior Secondary School is in progress. Parents/guardians are enjoined to advertise the school in your neighborhood. May the Almighty God bless you beyond your imagination as you promote and advertise the school in your neighborhood. S.S.C.E (N.E.C.O, 2024), B.E.C.E, (State) 2024 Examination and Basic Common Entrance Examination:
- Pupils/ Students are fully prepared for the above mentioned examinations which will commence very soon. Open Day:
- The school open day for both Primary and Secondary School will hold on Friday the 28th of June, 2024 effective from 9:30am. Parents are advised to come around to interact with the class teachers / subject teachers. School Uniform:
- Parents / Guardians are enjoined to purchase a pair of school uniform from the school to replace the torn or worn- out uniforms of your ward(s).
Hostel Requirement: All boarders are mandated to have boarding house wear. Equally, only two additional dresses are permitted for a boarder to have in their wardrobe. Unnecessary luggage will not be permitted as they are coming back to the hostel on Wednesday the 19th of June, 2024. School Fees: Effective from Wednesday the 19th of June, 2024, school fee defaulters will not be allowed to gain access into the classroom. Parents/guardians who are yet to effect full payment of your ward’s school fees are candidly enjoined to do so on or before Wednesday the 19th of June, 2024. Conclusion: We want to reiterate that we hold our loving parents/guardians in high esteem. May you reap the reward of your painstaking efforts on your ward(s).
